Job summary

Transdev, a leading mobility company, seeks an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage accurate payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff across multiple states. You will handle ADP EV5/eTime, ensure data integrity, and coordinate with HR, finance, and other departments to maintain employee records.

The role requires 3–5 years in payroll, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of union payrolls. A high school diploma is required; CPP/FPC preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• FPC or CPP preferred in payroll.
• 3-5 years of payroll experience required.
• Transit environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties associated with the overall administration of the payroll function utilizing ADP EV5 payroll system and ADP eTime
• Responsible for the preparation and processing of multiple multi-state union and non-union weekly & biweekly payroll processing from start to finish
• Establish/maintain the accuracy of employee records by manual data entry and auditing the database for all employee record changes
• Review changes for proper authorization and adherence to APA policy
• Assists with calculating employees’ hours from timecards and timekeeping systems; ensures on-time and accurate pay
• Prepare payroll related reports as needed; union reports and payment requests
• Troubleshoots payroll issues; verifies accuracy of figures and computations
• Responds to employee questions regarding all payroll questions
• Maintains confidentiality of all information
• Open corporate mail daily and route as necessary
• Assist other departments as needed
• Other duties as required
