Elwood Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll & Billing Specialist to support the Accounting department by processing payroll and customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

You will apply analytical skills, follow internal controls, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while delivering superior service to associates and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in accounting or related field; extensive experience may offset degree.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
• Positive attitude, team mentality, goal oriented.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
• Process and deliver customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow internal control guidelines / standard processes.
• Be detail oriented and a problem solver.
• Apply analytical skills to identify and resolve variances from expected outcomes.
• Identify areas to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Prepare special project analyses as requested.
• Provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.

General Purpose:

To support Elwood Staffing branches and the Accounting department by processing payroll and billing in a timely andaccurate manner. Consistently support and promote the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provide Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.
