Job summary

CFS in Orlando, FL seeks a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to own the payroll process for 500+ employees and manage benefits reconciliation. This high-visibility role collaborates across HR, Accounting, and leadership to improve processes and accuracy.

You will process bi-weekly payroll via Paylocity, maintain records, support workers' comp, and leverage advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting. Onsite work and long-term growth with HR are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience processing payroll for 200+ employees; 500+ preferred.
• Benefits administration and reconciliation experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Onsite, collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 500 employees, including hourly and salaried staff.
• Manage payroll data integrity and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing through Paylocity.
• Perform monthly benefits reconciliation and serve as the primary liaison with insurance carriers.
• Resolve benefit discrepancies and ensure proper enrollment, deductions, and credits.
• Maintain employee records, status changes, and payroll-related documentation.
• Support workers' compensation administration, incident reporting, and compliance tracking.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis.
• Assist with process improvements that enhance payroll accuracy and employee experience.
