Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to lead a multi-site payroll and benefits team. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, oversee audits, and develop analytics to drive business decisions.

You will mentor staff, implement process improvements and automation, and partner with vendors to optimize benefits programs. This is a hands-on, onsite role with strong growth potential and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll and benefits functions.
• Strong ADP Workforce Now experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of payroll regulations, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Previous leadership experience managing payroll, benefits, or HR teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-site payroll operations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead employee benefits administration and manage relationships with benefits vendors.
• Manage payroll audits, tax reporting, garnishments, reconciliations, and related compliance activities.
• Develop payroll reporting and analytics to support business decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop payroll and benefits team members.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for payroll-related questions and issues.
