Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced payroll professional to process biweekly payroll, verify data, and manage updates to deductions and earnings. The role requires coordination with timekeeping and payroll systems and adherence to IRS, FLSA, and related guidelines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of payroll experience; CPP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience, required.
• 2 years of payroll/finance experience required; HR/payroll experience preferred.
• CPP designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inputs data into computerized payroll systems to process biweekly payroll and update pay/deduction records.
• Performs audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Communicates with external agencies regarding employee status and legal requests.
• Responds to employee inquiries using timekeeping/payroll data and maintains records.
