  • Facilitates the timely completion of any special projects or payroll deadlines.
  • Maintains accurate data entry for all employees' general deductions, Pharmacy, Gift Shops, Uniforms, special sales, etc. and, also enters any additional premiums an employee may qualify for based on their job codes on a weekly, biweekly, and monthly basis.
  • Maintains all supplies (advice/check stock, paper, printer cartridges, etc.) necessary for completing all payroll cycles for the organization.

Position Details:

Work Shift: Day Shift (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 30 Department: Payroll Genesis HealthCare System utilizes Workday as its HRIS system; therefore, priority consideration will be given to candidates with Workday experience.

Overview of Position:

The Payroll Associate assists in the preparation of weekly and biweekly payroll processes, including running reports and inputting data necessary to issue accurate, timely payroll for Genesis HealthCare System employees and Partner Companies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  1. Prepares wage verifications, workers' comp wages, unemployment wages, loss wage reports, court documents, etc., and completes by requested dates.
  2. Processes all government-related court-ordered forms, garnishments, child support, educational loans, IRS levy, etc, for the employees' payroll deduction process.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  3. Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  4. Walks to various floors and campuses related to Genesis to verify any problems with time clock malfunctions.
  5. May need to rotate shifts and days off. All System employees must be willing to work all shifts, extra hours, Holidays and emergency shifts as required.
