RTX seeks a Project Support Analyst to join Time & Labor Management, partnering with Payroll, HR, and Operations to drive enterprise initiatives. The role supports projects, implementations, compliance, and analytics, serving as a developing SME across multiple functional areas.

The position is hybrid, with resi­dency within commuting distance of Richardson, TX; travel and cross-site collaboration may be required. A strong background in accounting/finance and payroll is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline required.
  • 2+ years of payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, or compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an operational SME supporting managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead or support projects, enterprise implementations and operational readiness.
  • Provide advanced operational support across Time & Labor function areas.
  • Assist with testing, validation, and deployment for system changes.
  • Create and maintain process docs, training materials, and reporting resources.
  • Support reporting and data analysis using Excel, SAP, Power BI, or related systems.

The Project Support Analyst role supports Time & Labor Management operations while assisting managers and cross-functional teams with projects, implementations, operational improvements, compliance initiatives, reporting activities, and enterprise support efforts. This role serves as a developing subject matter expert and may support multiple operational areas based on business needs.

The position regularly partners with Payroll, HR, Operations, Compliance, and system support teams to support operational objectives, implementation readiness, process standardization, and enterprise initiatives.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as an operational SME supporting managers, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
  • Lead or support operational projects, enterprise implementations, strategic initiatives, and operational readiness efforts.
  • Provide advanced operational support across multiple Time & Labor Management functional areas based on business and project needs.
  • Support managers with projects, implementations, and enterprise support activities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, HR, Operations, Compliance, and system teams to support project execution and operational goals.
  • Support labor compliance reviews and operational audit activities.
  • Assist with testing, validation, implementation readiness, and deployment support for operational or system changes.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, training materials, operational procedures, reporting resources, and reference guides.
  • Support reporting and data analysis efforts utilizing Excel, SAP, Power BI, ServiceNow, or related systems.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide project updates, operational feedback, issue tracking support, and implementation assistance.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, operational efficiency improvements, and scalable operational support solutions.
  • Designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive on‑site training programs for HR, employees, and supervisors to ensure consistent understanding and application of time and labor processes.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • A Bachelors Degree Accounting, Finance or related discipline and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience payroll, timekeeping, finance, auditing, and/or compliance experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Strong PC-based skills; Experience demonstrating intermediate skills in MS Word and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience supporting projects, implementations, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with workforce operations, payroll, labor compliance, or timekeeping processes.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience analyzing operational data and reporting trends.
  • Excel, reporting, and process documentation experience.
  • SAP, ServiceNow, Power BI, or workforce management systems experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Location

This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Greenville/Richardson, TX, Farmington, CT, or Cedar Rapids, IA.

Employees who are working in hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
