Tate & Lyle is seeking a Payroll Analyst, North America, to manage multi‑payroll processing for U.S. and Canada employees. The role offers the choice of working from our Hoffman Estates, IL office or remotely from home in the USA.
The successful candidate will ensure payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with laws, while partnering with HR, Finance and Plant administrators to drive improvements across payroll processes.

Reporting to the Head of People Services, NOAM, the Payroll Analyst, North America, will be a subject matter expert for the region, working as part of the People Services (including payroll) team, liaising across the organization, and maintaining effective working relationships. The Payroll Analyst, North America, will play an active role in the processing of multiple payrolls via an outsourced, fully managed payroll provision for our US and Canada based employees. The role involves ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations and company policy is key. The jobholder will provide payroll governance, ensuring robust and effective payroll practice and processes are adhered to. To achieve this, the jobholder will be tasked with identifying and implementing changes to enhance current practices and strengthen a robust framework that ensures payroll compliance with statutory and audit requirements. This position will have the option to be located in either our HoffmanEstates,IL offices or Home‑Based USA.
Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Certificate OR FPC ( Three to five years of related experience required.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Salary range for this position is: $57,000 - $85,000.
Tate & Lyle complies with all local/state regulations requiring salary range transparency. When determining final compensation, we take into consideration: skillset, job scope, knowledge, prior experience, cost of living, market data, budget availability, and other factors as permitted by law.
