White Lodging is hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Accounting team at the Merrillville, Indiana headquarters. This hybrid role splits time between our corporate office and remote work, supporting over 30 hotel properties across multiple states.

You will manage high-volume payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in a fast-paced corporate environment. Collaboration with property teams and leadership is essential to success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations across multiple states.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet strict payroll deadlines in a multi-state environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems; Lawson and Kronos experience preferred.
• Strong problem solving, time management, and multitasking in a fast-paced payroll setting.

Responsibilities

• Process full gross-to-net payroll for 30+ hotel locations in a high-volume corporate environment.
• Reconcile payroll calculations and tax withholdings across multi-state portfolio.
• Resolve punches, approvals, and payroll exceptions with property teams.
• Process off-cycle payments and retroactive pay adjustments as needed.
• Execute payroll reports and system queries to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Provide timely payroll support to associates and leaders across the organization.

We are hiring a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll and Accounting team at White Lodging's corporate headquarters in Merrillville, Indiana. This is a hybrid role — three days per week in our Merrillville corporate office and two days remote — offering the structure of an in-person collaborative environment alongside the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. What You'll Do

• Process full gross-to-net payroll for 30+ multi-state hotel locations in a high-volume corporate payroll environment — ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Reconcile payroll calculations — including federal, state, and local tax withholdings — across a multi-state hotel portfolio with precision and strict attention to detail
• Partner with property management teams across the White Lodging hotel portfolio to resolve missed punches, approval issues, and payroll exceptions in a timely and professional manner
• Research and process off-cycle payments and retroactive pay adjustments as needed — ensuring accurate gross-to-net payroll production at every property
• Execute payroll reports and system queries to ensure ongoing data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance across all assigned hotel locations
• Provide timely, professional payroll support to associates and leaders across the organization — serving as a knowledgeable and responsive resource for all payroll-related inquiries

What You'll Bring

• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations — with demonstrated experience processing multi-state payroll in a high-volume corporate environment
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict payroll deadlines consistently across a large, multi-property hotel portfolio
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems — Lawson experience preferred; Kronos experience a strong plus for this hotel payroll administrator role
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills — with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven payroll environment
• High level of personal integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive associate and payroll data
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a genuine customer-service focus — you are a responsive, professional resource for associates and property leaders across the organization
• Comfort and productivity in a hybrid work environment — self-directed and accountable both in the Merrillville, Indiana corporate office three days per week and working remotely
