Job Overview

We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to support payroll operations across multiple legal entities in the US. This role is responsible for payroll reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and compliance for 15,000+ employees. The ideal candidate will have experience with Workday, a strong understanding of multi-state payroll processing, and a keen eye for detail in auditing and process improvements.

Job Responsibilities
  • Process biweekly payroll for US employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.
  • Analyze payroll data, identify and resolve discrepancies, and process corrections as needed.
  • Support internal and external payroll audits, ensuring compliance with evolving payroll laws and regulations.
  • Manage Workday timecards, including auditing, reporting, and ensuring timely approvals.
  • Process supplemental payrolls for bonuses, stock options, and other ad hoc payments.
  • Partner with HRIS for data imports.
  • Perform timecard reconciliations to validate timekeeping against payroll records.
  • Update payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  • Support year-end payroll processes.
  • Assist with tax allocations for employees working across multiple jurisdictions in the US and Canada.
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle US payroll processing (multi-state).
  • Proficiency in Workday and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and correct payroll discrepancies.
