We are seeking a Payroll Accountant with strong expertise in US and Canada payroll processes, payroll accounting, tax compliance, and advanced reporting.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in full-cycle payroll accounting and payroll operations, with proven ability to manage outsourced vendors and support financial audits. Experience with Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, SAP, or similar ERP systems is highly preferred, along with the ability to drive process improvements and financial accuracy.
You will play a key role in ensuring proper payroll accounting, tax filings, and reconciliations, contributing to the integrity of financial reporting. The Payroll Tax Accountant is responsible for ensuring the accurate calculation, reporting, reconciliation, and remittance of federal, state, and local payroll taxes. This role partners closely with Payroll, Finance, Human Resources, and external agencies to maintain compliance with payroll tax regulations while supporting payroll operations and tax-related initiatives. The Payroll Tax Accountant monitors legislative changes, resolves tax discrepancies, and ensures timely tax filings and payments.

The base pay range for this position is: $87,620 - $120,483 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
