Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking an experienced IT professional to support day-to-day processing, system upgrades, and new project initiatives within the FedNow and payments services domain. The role requires strong understanding of business workflows and collaboration across operations, product development, and technical teams.

Onsite work is required, with a focus on delivering reliable processing platforms and constant improvements to customer experience and throughput.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire® Funds and Securities, NSS, FedCash® and FedNow® Service preferred.
• Experience supporting business operations and product development with technical expertise.
• Ability to translate complex system changes into operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support for Business Operations and Product Development teams through consultative, technical and development expertise.
• Identifies impact of changes to workflow and throughput of business applications.
• Develops test plans to ensure changes do not create issues for customers.
• Leads or participates in defining requirements, design reviews and test case development.
• Communicates progress and issues to leadership and stakeholders.
• Supports testing of application changes from an operational perspective.
