UPS is seeking a Payments Strategy Office intern to assist with financial analysis, reporting, payment operations, and project support. You will work across finance, accounting, business, and technology teams to gather data, prepare reports, monitor performance, and support strategic payment initiatives.

The role involves cost planning, customer outreach, and process improvements, with exposure to payment systems and business transformation efforts.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Interest in financial operations, payment systems, business analysis, reporting, or project management.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and analyze recurring reports comparing actual results to forecasts, budgets, and business objectives.
• Assist with financial analysis, trend identification, and reporting to support management decision-making.
• Help identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and automation.
• Support payment operations activities, including supplier onboarding and payment inquiries.
• Assist with reconciliations, audit documentation, and compliance procedures.
• Help monitor operational performance metrics, service levels, and KPIs.
• Assist project teams with data gathering, meeting coordination, and status tracking.
• Support business process analysis, workflow documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in testing activities, issue tracking, and project implementation support.
• Assist with special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
• Support customer outreach programs related to claims payment initiatives and digital payment adoption.
• Coordinate communications with internal teams and external partners.
• Provide support for other Payment Strategy Office initiatives and transformation programs.
• Assist with user provisioning, access requests, and account maintenance.
