Job summary

CoVantage Credit Union is hiring a Payments Specialist in Wisconsin to manage ACH transactions, mobile deposits, and related payments with a focus on accuracy and security. You will contribute to timely processing, uphold policies, and protect confidential information while delivering outstanding member service.

The role emphasizes problem solving, process improvement, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to precision and integrity in every transaction.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office software.
• Professional financial experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to independently organize and prioritize work to complete tasks.
• Must be bondable.

Responsibilities

• Processes ACH transactions whether RDFI or ODFI including exception, return, and non-monetary transactions within expected timeframes.
• Reviews and decisions mobile deposit check images.
• Is familiar with and adheres to all aspects and provisions of regulations and policies as they pertain to the individual’s assigned job duties.
• Maintains the confidentiality of member, employee, and credit union information.
• Provides all members with professional, high quality member service.
• Exhibits the credit union’s seven service standards promoting a culture of welcoming all and putting people first whether they are a member or a coworker.

• Processes ACH (Automated Clearing House) transactions whether credit union acts as RDFI (receiving depository financial institution) or as an ODFI (originating depository financial institution) including exception, return, and non-monetary transactions within expected timeframes.
• Reviews and decisions mobile deposit check images.
• Is familiar with and adheres to all aspects and provisions of regulations and policies as they pertain to the individual’s assigned job duties.
• Maintains the confidentiality of member, employee, and credit union information.
