Global Payments is seeking a Product Owner I to bridge product strategy and technical execution in Washington DC. You will decompose features into user stories with acceptance criteria and manage a healthy backlog in collaboration with design, engineering, and QA.

You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain release readiness, implement feature flags, and ensure aligned delivery timelines within the agile workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Typically 4+ years in product ownership or software product organization.
• Experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with agile delivery and backlog management.

Responsabilités

• Owns and manages the development team's backlog, including stories, bugs, tasks, and technical debt.
• Decomposes features into user stories with acceptance criteria and UX details.
• Collaborates with design and engineering on estimates and feasibility.
• Ensures stories meet the Definition of Ready and release readiness.
• Prioritizes work and aligns with release timelines and dependencies.
• Supports documentation and cross-team coordination for delivery.
