Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. invites a Product Platform Director for Transaction Processing in Merchant Services to own platform capabilities across the full payments lifecycle, including pay-in processing, economics, compliance, and post-transaction events.

You will drive platform health, governance, and reuse while guiding cross-functional teams toward scalable, compliant payment solutions. You will partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Solution teams to deliver outcomes and mentor

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience delivering products, projects, or technology applications.
• Broad understanding of payments ecosystems, networks, methods, fees, and lifecycle events.
• Extensive knowledge of product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics.
• Proven ability to influence key product lifecycle activities including discovery, ideation, development, and value management.
• Experience driving change and managing stakeholders across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for foundational payments platforms.
• Lead platform ownership across the end-to-end payments lifecycle, including pay-in processing and post-transaction events.
• Build and operate systems of record and reusable services (APIs, data models, controls).
• Balance long-term platform health with near-term regulatory and risk-driven commitments.
• Ensure platforms deliver commercial outcomes, including margin integrity and cost-of-payments optimization.
• Drive governance, controls, and audit-ready evidence as platform features.
• Leverage data and AI to surface anomalies and identify risks or opportunities.
• Partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Solution teams to deliver scalable outcomes.
• Act as senior decision owner for platform-level tradeoffs and prioritization.
