Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring adherence to relevant regulations, guidelines, and procedures set by the regulatory bodies.
  • Conducting payment operations and working with local payments systems.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end payment processes, including transaction initiation, verification, reconciliation, and settlement through local and international payment systems.
  • Collaborating with internal IT teams to address any technical issues related to payment systems.
  • Ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication with payment systems.
  • Generating regular reports on payment activities, volumes, and performance metrics to support decision-making processes and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring and mitigating payment-related risks, such as fraud, errors, and operational disruptions, by suggesting appropriate control measures and conducting risk assessments.
  • Providing support to internal departments regarding payment processes, compliance requirements, and changes in local payment systems, rules, and regulations.
  • Facilitating communication with payment service providers on operational, technical, and regulatory matters.
  • Staying updated on the latest trends, regulations, and innovations in the payment industry, continually enhancing professional knowledge and skills.
