Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Payments Governance Client Operations Manager III to drive governance, risk management, and control improvements within Third Party Oversight & Governance Operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional programs in payments or third-party risk contexts.
• Ability to translate technical details into governance and control requirements.
• People management experience with coaching and performance leadership.
• Executive presence with strong communication to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to rapidly identify risk and compliance vulnerabilities and elevate appropriately.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of heightened risk themes and serve as a SME on the firm’s risk policy decision tree.
• Act as the primary point of contact for reviewing, triaging, and resolving risk escalations for models requiring enhanced due diligence.
• Maintain governance documentation and communicate prohibited or restricted products and services to stakeholders with expertise on card network rules and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and deliver strategic initiatives from intake through execution with milestones and risk/issue management.
• Partner with internal Technology teams and external integrators to translate governance requirements into implementable outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong client-facing capabilities with senior stakeholders.
• Travel to client offices to conduct onsite fieldwork and deliver insights-driven reports.
• Build partnerships across stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment to meet deadlines.
• Contribute to SOPs, governance routines, and change management processes.
