Job summary

Zorro is seeking a Payment & Applications Specialist to join our customer servicing and operations team. This role focuses on payment and enrollment operations with insurance carriers and client support for employees, impacting service effectiveness and client satisfaction.

You will manage enrollment workflows, process premium payments with carriers, and resolve insurance issues while collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or current college enrollment.
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, data processing, or a related field.
• Familiarity with health insurance or employee benefits is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Enrollment Operations: Follow and maintain processes for enrolling Zorro members with insurance carriers. Document and build detailed instructions for each new carrier operational flow.
• Payment Operations: Work with clients and carriers to ensure the proper and timely processing of premium payments.
• Case Resolution: Work with carriers, members, and teammates to resolve insurance effectuation issues.
