Synechron is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with payments, SQL, and data analysis experience to support payment platforms, integrations, and data-driven solutions.

You will partner with business, product, technology, QA, operations, and vendor teams to translate business needs into clear system requirements and deliver effective solutions. Qualifications

• Translate business needs into clear system requirements.
• Experience with payments, banking, or fintech is preferred.
• Strong SQL skills and data validation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Create user stories, process flows, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze payment data using SQL to identify trends and defects.
• Support payment processes including authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Define data requirements, interface specs, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with development and QA throughout the SDLC and Agile delivery.
• Develop test scenarios and support integration testing and UAT.
• Investigate production issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Support API, file-based, and system integration initiatives.
• Ensure data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
