MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a detail‑oriented Finance Clerk to process daily POS collections and prepare bank deposits. You will document transactions in departmental databases to support Finance and Management reporting and provide Help Desk support to Front End Payment Posters.
This on‑site role emphasizes accuracy, cash handling, and strong Excel/data entry skills. You will audit front‑end users and assist the Point of Service Supervisor in daily operations within a 40‑hour workweek.
Processes and reconciles daily Point of Service (POS) collections and prepares accurate, timely bank deposits. Maintains deposit records and supporting documentation in departmental databases to support financial reporting, reconciliation, and management oversight. Provides Help Desk support to Front-End Payment Posters by assisting with payment posting, cash drawer balancing, corrections, and issue resolution. Maintains accountability and control of change funds, collection bags, and related financial assets. Conducts audits of front-end users to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls. Supports the Point of Service Supervisor with daily operations, reporting, training, problem resolution, and process improvement initiatives.
