Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking a Medical Billing Clerk to support our revenue cycle team. Under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager and Lead Biller, you will post payments received electronically and by mail, and be accessible to physicians, staff, and patients regarding billing questions to ensure timely completion of all billing functions.

Required are 1–2 years of medical billing experience, excellent communication skills, and competency with ICD-10 and CPT

Working under the supervision of the Revenue Cycle Manager and Lead Biller will share the responsibilities of being accessible to physicians, staff and patients regarding billing questions; assures that all billing functions are completed in a timely fashion and develops billing goals. Position consists of posting payments received both electronically and by mail. Working various queues related to payments and other tasks as assigned by manager.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of medical billing experience

• Competency with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines

Salary Range: $21.06-$31.96
