The role requires 8+ years in healthcare payer work, strong leadership, and the ability to develop business, mentor teams, and represent the firm with senior clients. Travel is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with healthcare payers on strategic/operational initiatives.
• 4+ years of experience managing others.
• Deep understanding of payer models and health plan priorities.
• Proven ability to lead complex client engagements with executives.
• Strong executive presence and stakeholder management.
• Analytical, hypothesis-driven problem solving at scale.
• Experience developing new business and leading proposals.
• Ability to mentor teams and develop consulting talent.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex payer strategy and transformation engagements end-to-end.
• Advise senior payer executives on enterprise priorities and initiatives.
• Frame questions, synthesize insights, and translate into actions.
• Design business cases, target operating models, and roadmaps.
• Provide senior oversight to engagement teams for quality outcomes.
• Develop executive client relationships and identify opportunities.
• Lead business development, proposals, and account growth.
• Own engagement economics including scope, staffing and pricing.
• Collaborate with data/tech specialists to integrate solutions.
• Build intellectual property and contribute to market presence.
• Mentor managers and consultants and support recruiting.
