Responsibilities

This is a remote position, preferably for candidates residing in California with relevant physician contract experience.

Job Summary

The Contract Specialist in Divisional Payers Payer Strategy & Relationships (PSR) collaborates with various teams to support Managed Care payer contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with standards and alignment with operational goals.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review and redline contract proposals and rate sheets for accuracy and compliance.
  • Recommend edits and improvements to contract documents.
  • Assist in updating project plans, meeting minutes, and follow-up actions related to contract renewals.
  • Ensure proper signing and documentation of amendments, LOAs, MOUs, and other contracts.
  • Coordinate credentialing processes with Divisional PSR teams.
  • Maintain an updated inventory of all CSH hospitals and related entities.
  • Communicate contract terms, amendments, and policies effectively.
  • Maintain a knowledge base with relevant financial and industry information.
  • Adhere to contracting guidelines and support negotiations for hospital, physician, and ancillary services.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of physician contract negotiation experience; 3-5 years preferred.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care operations, and financial aspects of contracting.
  • Strong negotiation, project management, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft/Google Suite.
Pay Range

$27.77 - $40.27 per hour
