Job summary

CareAbout Health seeks a Payer Relations and Outreach professional to manage payer relationships, contract programs, and performance tracking. You will coordinate with clinical operations, coding, and finance, ensuring accurate data and timely deliverables across multiple organizations.

The role requires strong communication, discretion with sensitive information, and experience in value‑based care, fee schedules, and payer governance. Travel within NY/NJ/FL may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, public health or related field.
• 2–4 years in contracting, provider relations, network management, or value-based care.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and handling confidential information.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professional correspondence skills.
• Experience with payer programs (fee schedules, Medicare Advantage, value-based care).

Responsibilities

• Manage payer relationships and contract programs across multiple organizations.
• Prepare performance tracking, fee schedule comparisons, and reconciliation notes.
• Lead cross‑functional coordination with clinical ops, coding and revenue cycle.
• Deliver governance meeting support: scheduling, minutes, and follow-ups.
• Maintain contract inventory, deliverables, and program exhibits; ensure on-time execution.
