Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our US Payer Field team as an Account Director (multiple positions available, across regions). The primary objective of the Payer Field Team - Account Director is to secure favorable coverage and reimbursement for all Orca Bio products through regional, national, and government payers. Account Directors are responsible for formulating and executing account plans, engaging with both Regional and National Payer customers, and working directly with targeted Academic Hospitals/Health Systems. This role will be key in onboarding treatment centers and supporting broad, timely patient access, collaborating closely with field sales, Medical Affairs, Legal, Quality, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main contact for all Authorized Treatment Centers (ATCs) regarding payer-access engagements, including onboarding.
  • Develop and execute payer strategies for regional and national accounts to ensure access at launch and ongoing payer segmentation and business tactics.
  • Present analyses of scientific data, clinical practice goals, guidelines, and economic outcomes to support product value.
  • Utilize medical expertise to deliver comprehensive product and disease state presentations to decision-makers.
  • Maintain favorable access and reimbursement policies for Orca's products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Partner with academic hospitals and health systems to ensure patient access.
  • Work with Case Management teams to resolve patient access issues.
  • Assist field reps with reimbursement challenges.
  • Track KPIs and ensure dashboard accuracy for market access results.
  • Adhere to company values, policies, and ethical standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 12+ years of relevant payer/hospital reimbursement experience.
  • Established relationships with key payer stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with payer policies and data tracking tools.
  • Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Proactive, results-oriented, collaborative, and a self-starter with leadership qualities.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws related to patient data protection.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently during onboarding and meetings (~75%).
