Job summary

Clay County Hospital in Flora, IL is hiring for a full-time payer enrollment specialist. You will complete enrollment for new and existing providers and maintain provider rosters with payers, working closely with providers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and collect documentation.

In addition to enrollment duties, you will handle work insurance follow-up, address claim denials, and process patient payments.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and customer service are valued.
• Experience with payer enrollment or medical billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Primary duties include completing payer enrollment for all new and existing providers. Maintain provider rosters on a quarterly basis with all payers. Works directly with providers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies and collect documentation. As a secondary responsibility, candidate with work insurance follow up and claim denials as well as process patient payments.

This position is full-time, (40 hours a week) benefit-eligible position. Hours are daytime, Monday through Friday. Starting pay begins at $18.27 and increases with experience.

Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree is preferred. An excellent candidate would possess a strong set of skills in the following areas: computer skills, attention to details, and customer service.
