Job description

About Bridge

Bridge is the fastest, most compliant way to scale insurance billing nationwide. We enable virtual care companies to go in-network nationally in as little as 30 days, without the operational lift. Our platform handles payer contracting, credentialing, real-time benefit verification, medical coding, claim submission, denial management, and compliance in a single integrated solution. Backed by General Catalyst, Andreessen Horowitz, Thrive Capital, Khosla Ventures, Greenoaks, and Mischief.

The Role

Bridge is hiring an experienced health plan contracting specialist to own the execution of key network contracting and rate negotiation processes. This role sits at the core of how Bridge gets providers and clinics in-network, ensuring insurance access for the millions of patients we hope to serve.

You’ll manage the process of network contracting and rate tracking for national and regional payers focusing on the commercial and Medicare lines of business. You’ll be responsible for identifying and evaluating network growth opportunities, negotiating optimal reimbursement rates, and negotiating contract terms. You'll work cross-functionally with product, clinical, legal, and partner teams to move quickly, resolve blockers, and help design reliable systems that scale.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys solving real problems in healthcare—someone who’s detail-oriented, analytical, action-biased, and thrives in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities
Group Contracting & Negotiation

  • Lead network contract negotiations across national payers and regional markets

Contract and Policy Management
  • Build and maintain a scalable contract tracking system covering key terms, lines of business, and critical dates
  • Quantify covered lives across the contract portfolio using third-party data to inform network strategy and prioritization
  • Research health plan coverage policies and contract terms to support new service line development
Rate Management
  • Maintain a complete view of contracted rates across your book of business, at both the contract and portfolio level
  • Monitor actual reimbursement against contracted rate cards and flag underpayment or discrepancies
  • Benchmark contracted rates against market norms and identify gaps and opportunities
  • Build the case for rate increases by combining benchmark data, performance trends, and company goals, and drive them through negotiation
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in health plan network contracting
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance, Medicare, provider enrollment, and reimbursement processes
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a bias toward ownership and execution
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally across product, clinical, legal, and partner teams
  • Analytical mindset - you love tracking performance, spotting patterns, and building better processes
  • Strong communication skills - you can clearly synthesize complex payer dynamics for internal stakeholders and hold your own with health plan counterparts
  • Familiarity with telehealth provider enrollment, delegated credentialing, or government contracting is a plus
