What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in maintaining the build in Athena related to all aspects of payer configuration and collection performance
- Review and maintain all items related to payer configuration, including contracts, updates, and fee schedule updates
- Analyze Key Performance Indicators and collection reports to identify issues and resolutions
- Stay updated on payer policies and troubleshoot issues with Athena software
- Collaborate with the RCM team and assist with special projects and system enhancements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with payers, healthcare analytics, or system support in the healthcare field
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with team members
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of billing procedures, insurance reimbursement, and guidelines, preferably in a medical or anesthesia setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 3+ years of experience with medical billing knowledge
- Familiarity with payer contracting and charge corrections
- Understanding of Medicare/Medicaid, government plans, HMOs, and PPOs guidelines
- Proven ability to perform at a high level of productivity and quality
- Experience working in collaboration with management to improve processes
