Our Payer Admin Product team focuses on delivering solutions that ensure accurate payments by enhancing transparency around Payer-specific requirements across the Revenue Cycle.

The Sr. Product Manager will define and drive product strategy, effectively communicate complex concepts, and collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams. Success requires organization, prioritization, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing the product roadmap, including integration with external data and editing systems.
  • Optimize internal programs and assets, collaborating with stakeholders to bring the roadmap to market.
  • Serve as the product subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with UHG leaders and stakeholders to support client activities and strategies.
  • Work with reporting and analytics teams to establish performance metrics and define requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in product management.
  • 5 years of experience working with EDI and a full understanding of the process.
  • 5+ years of healthcare data knowledge.
  • 5+ years of experience interfacing with business leaders and strategic partners.
  • 2+ years of experience leading cross-matrix teams and delivering results.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Change Management.
  • Experience defining and delivering product enhancements.
  • Experience with products leveraging Advanced Intelligence models.
  • Experience with Optum Accelerate process.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and adaptability.

The salary range is $106,800 to $194,200 annually, based on various factors including location, education, and experience. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock options, and 401k contributions.
