Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Full-Time Retail Sales Associate to support pawn store operations nationwide. This entry-level role partners with the staff to deliver customer service on both lending and retail sides, greeting customers and processing sales and loan transactions.

You will interact with customers positively, assist with inquiries and problem resolution, manage inventory placement, and work across merchandise and financial solutions offered to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 18 years of age (21 in WA).
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of jewelry and general merchandise preferred.
• Able to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Excellent work ethic and business sense.
• Able to work in multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to recommend appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures in a non-management role.
• Keep sales floor clean and stocked; maintain displays.
• Process sales and loan transactions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and regulations.
• Assist with inventory and merchandise handling.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers and managers to provide great service.
