Job summary

Libs Paving Co. in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, seeks a Superintendent to plan, supervise, and document job site activities across asphalt prep, paving, sealcoat, striping, and concrete work.

You will direct Supervisors and coordinate with the VP of Operations to keep projects on schedule and on budget, while upholding Libs Paving safety standards. This leadership role requires a proven track record in road construction, excellent communication, and the ability to resolve conflicts quickly.

Qualifications

• Must have a Leadership Mindset.
• Attention to Detail with Good Organization Skills.
• Dependable with good attendance and punctuality.
• Minimum of 5 years Construction industry experience knowledge or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Supervisors in prep, paving, concrete, excavation, striping and sealcoat operations.
• Plans, schedules, coordinates, and monitors crew activities with senior leadership.
• Provide direction on Libs Paving standards, work quality, and accountability.
• Daily meetings with supervisors to review the work for the day.
• Identify, verify and manage scheduling conflicts to meet team needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
