• Assist with preparation, installation, and maintenance of asphalt.
• Work alongside skilled workers and operators to ensure high-quality, safe completion of paving projects.
• Use hand tools and light power tools to assist in laying materials and support heavy equipment operators.
• Assist with spreading, leveling, and compacting paving materials; help remove old pavement and prepare subgrade.
• Follow safety protocols; wear PPE; maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleanup of tools, equipment, and job site.
