Ruston Paving is seeking a dependable skilled paving and grading laborer for a commercial/industrial contractor. You will perform physically demanding work, assist with site preparation, operate basic hand tools, and support the crew to meet project goals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a positive attitude. Training is provided by our skilled team, with opportunities for growth and overtime pay where applicable.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to perform strenuous manual labor and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor in site work and paving projects.
• Shovel, rake, or lute materials into construction areas and level material.
• Assist in patching and compacting asphalt, aggregate, and dirt.
• Clean, sweep, and prepare job sites; remove waste materials.
• Load/unload trucks and haul materials to job sites.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents promptly.
