Job summary

Knife River Northwest seeks a seasoned Paving Crew Supervisor in Beaverton, OR to oversee paving crews on road and commercial projects. You will manage traffic control, subcontractor work, paving operations and trucking while ensuring quality, safety, and on-time completion.

You will lead daily reporting, safety meetings, and coordinate with inspectors and contractors, upholding Knife River's standards for customer and employee satisfaction. Prior paving supervision required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience focusing on asphalt paving, streets, highways, and commercial projects.
• Experience supervising others in a construction setting.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple crews or activities.
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of related construction experience with an emphasis on asphalt paving, streets, highways, and commercial projects
• Must have skills in operating all types of paving equipment
• Must have a positive attitude and proven track record of working well with others
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Experience supervising others
• Must have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and safety
