Job summary

Lone Star Paving is seeking a Heavy Paving Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to maintain company-owned tools, equipment and vehicles across Texas projects. You will work with Milling, Asphalt, and Maintenance teams to keep assets in top condition, ensuring safety and reliability on heavy highway and civil works.

The ideal candidate has experience with asphalt milling machines and a strong understanding of asphalt operations, with a focus on timely, quality maintenance and collaboration with the

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostics, maintenance, and operation of asphalt milling machines.
• Ability to follow maintenance schedules and document logs accurately.
• Commitment to safety policies and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate condition of defective tools and equipment; collaborate with Equipment Manager to determine solutions.
• Prepare cost estimates for repairs and obtain authorization before work.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles per the schedule; keep accurate logs.
