Job summary
Asphaltech Pavement Solutions in Salem, NJ is seeking an Asphalt Laborer for full-time field work on paving, concrete, and maintenance projects. You will join a professional crew, perform site prep, operate basic construction tools, and support safe, efficient operations on active jobsites.
Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, lift and carry materials, and contribute to a strong team.
Qualifications
- Experience in asphalt and/or concrete work preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions.
- Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment.
- Experience with concrete finishing tools is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record; no provisional licenses.
- Strong work ethic and team-player mentality.
- Commitment to safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with asphalt paving, patching, repair, and maintenance work
- Support concrete installation and related site tasks
- Use basic construction tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Help prepare work areas, materials, and cleanup throughout the day
- Take measurements and support layout or surface preparation as needed
- Work outdoors in different weather conditions and on active jobsites
- Follow crew direction and contribute to a strong team environment
- Maintain safe work habits and follow company safety procedures
