Overview

The Paver Operator will operate asphalt paver machines to meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers as assigned.
• Operate asphalt paver safely and efficiently.
• Ensure machines operate with accuracy, safety, and skill per job specifications.
• Maintain equipment through ongoing inspection, preventative maintenance, and proper care.
• Maintain constant awareness of surroundings, co-workers, and other equipment on site.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
• Interpret and execute projects based on site plans and surveys.
• Clean the jobsite at the end of each day, ensuring proper disposal of trash and storage of materials and equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience: At least 3 years of experience in construction and operating asphalt paving machines.
