Knife River in Billings, MT is seeking a paving crew member to perform assigned tasks on the paving crew, operate equipment, and contribute to street, highway and parking lot projects. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Applicants should have prior asphalt paving experience, be able to bend, lift, and stand long hours, and be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with asphalt paving on streets, highways, parking lots, or small commercial projects.
• Able to bend, stoop, lift, push and stand for long periods in all weather.
• CDL Class A preferred or ability to obtain one.
• Must pass background check, medical/functional exam and drug screen.
• Flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends and overtime.
• Maintain professional and courteous attitude with team and customers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• - Perform assigned tasks on paving crew as directed - this may include various equipment operations and laboring
• - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
• - Other duties assigned as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• - Previous experience or background in all types of asphalt paving, i.e., streets, highways, parking lots and small commercial projects
• - Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push and be on your feet for long periods of time, in all weather conditions
• - Class A CDL with tanker helpful or the ability to obtain one
• - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen
• - Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, weekends and overtime
• - Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members and customers
