Job summary

Roche Landscaping Services (RLS) is seeking an experienced Paver & Landscape Foreman to join our Maryland and Northern Virginia team. You will lead a crew on commercial hardscape and landscape installation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to RLS quality standards.

You will oversee paver installation, grading, drainage, and walls, while reading plans, organizing daily activities, and coordinating materials.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial paver and landscape crews.
• Ability to read plans, layouts, elevations.
• Ability to operate construction equipment safely.
• Strong problem solving and organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with a crew on commercial hardscape and landscape installation projects.
• Install segmental interlocking pavers, including layout, base, cutting, and finishing.
• Perform excavation, grading, site preparation.
• Install drainage systems, retaining walls, and segmental block systems.
• Read and follow plans, elevations, and project layouts.
• Organize daily crew activities and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and manpower.
• Keep projects on schedule while maintaining safety and quality.
• Train and support crew members while setting a positive example.

Paver & Landscape Foreman

Roche Landscaping Services (RLS) is looking for an experienced Paver & Landscape Foreman to join our growing team serving Maryland and Northern Virginia. About the Position

As a Foreman, you will work alongside your crew while providing day-to-day direction, keeping projects moving, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to RLS quality standards.

What You'll Do

• Lead and work alongside a crew on commercial hardscape and landscape installation projects.
• Install segmental interlocking pavers, including layout, excavation, base preparation, installation, cutting, and finishing.
• Perform excavation, grading, demolition, and site preparation.
• Install drainage systems, retaining walls, and segmental block systems.
• Read and follow plans, specifications, elevations, and project layouts.
• Organize daily crew activities and coordinate materials, tools, equipment, and manpower.
• Keep projects on schedule while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.
• Communicate project progress, questions, and concerns to supervisors and project management.
• Train and support crew members while setting a positive example.
• Ensure company vehicles, tools, equipment, and jobsites are properly maintained.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience with commercial paver and hardscape installation.
• Previous experience leading a landscape, hardscape, construction, or similar field crew.
• Knowledge of excavation, grading, base preparation, drainage, retaining walls, and site preparation.
• Ability to read plans, layouts, measurements, grades, and elevations.
• Ability to safely operate and work around construction equipment and tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable attendance, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to work outdoors and perform physical work alongside the crew.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and reliable transportation to and from our shop.
