We’re looking for a high-impact Pavement Project Manager who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and hit the road. This isn’t your typical desk job—you’ll be on-site and on the move, traveling wherever Lane has pavement jobs across the U.S. Your leadership will ensure our paving projects are delivered with the precision, safety, and quality that define Lane’s standard of excellence.

What You’ll Do

• Drive the financial performance of paving projects through expert scheduling, forecasting, and cost control.
• Travel frequently to project sites nationwide—your presence ensures successful execution wherever Lane is paving.
• Identify and manage risks to avoid delays and cost overruns.
• Oversee on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and progress align with project goals.
• Lead the pursuit of claims, change orders, and procurement within budget targets.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and key stakeholders to overcome challenges and deliver results.
• Maintain a strong command of CPM schedules, project reporting, and performance metrics.
• Champion a culture of safety and operational excellence on every job.
• Provide mentorship and performance feedback to build and strengthen your team.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s Degree (Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience managing heavy civil construction projects, with an emphasis on paving.
• A track record of successfully managing multiple priorities, teams, and remote projects.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently to project locations across the U.S. – this is essential!
• Advanced knowledge in cost control, scheduling, subcontractor management, and conflict resolution.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills.
