Helix Traffic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Pavement Marking Truck Operator in Springfield, MO. This in-person, full-time role requires hands-on experience with striping trucks and pavement markings and involves independent execution of daily project plans.

You will perform setup, measurements, and application of markings, conduct inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure DOT compliance while contributing to a safe, productive work environment. Training and on-site collaboration are emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Operate striping trucks and related pavement marking equipment safely and independently.
• Work with the Striping Manager to execute daily project plans and production goals.
• Assist with pavement marking layout, measurements, and project setup.
• Apply waterborne paint, thermoplastic, epoxy, tape, symbols, arrows, legends, and parking lot markings.
• Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting.
• Load/unload materials and manage traffic control devices.
• Maintain logs, equipment records, and project documentation.
• Monitor quality and report safety or production concerns.
• Support training of crew on procedures and safe practices.
• Complete projects in compliance with DOT specs and customer requirements.

Pavement Marking Truck Operator

Candidates must have hands-on experience with:

• Pavement marking with waterborne striping truck operation

What You'll Do

• Independently and safely operate striping trucks and related pavement marking equipment.
• Work directly with the Striping Manager to execute daily project plans and production goals.
• Assist with pavement marking layout, measurements, and project setup.
• Apply pavement markings including waterborne paint, thermoplastic, epoxy, tape, symbols, arrows, legends, parking lot markings, and roadway striping.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting of striping equipment.
• Load, unload, and manage project materials, tools, and traffic control devices.
• Assist with maintaining accurate pavement marking logs, equipment records, and project documentation.
• Monitor work quality and report equipment, safety, or production concerns to the Striping Manager.
• Support crew training efforts by demonstrating proper operating procedures and safe work practices.
• Complete projects in compliance with DOT specifications, company standards, and customer requirements.
• Follow all company safety policies and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned
