AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Pavement Marking Specialist to perform and supervise the pavement marking process, including operating Thermoplastic equipment and related tools.

The role involves transporting materials, reading blueprints, and adhering to MUTCD and city specs while supporting safety protocols on active job sites. You will work with a field crew to apply preformed thermoplastic, install markings on asphalt and concrete, and maintain striping equipment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED completion.
• Must be able to and enjoy connecting with field-level customers and contacts.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Must adhere to and promote safe workplace practices.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Sound understanding of installation methods, materials, and safety measures.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Willingness to work during evenings and on weekends, as needed.
• Typical work week 40+ hours.
• Outdoor conditions including heat, cold, dust, and asphalt.

Aufgaben

• Operate hand machines, forklift, hand grinder, thermo hand liner, adhesive applicator tools, and pavement painting equipment.
• Transport materials to job sites using heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Read blueprints and understand plans.
• Maintain and repair striping equipment for asphalt and concrete.
• Assist with pavement marking materials installation and thermoplastic application.
• Set up and take down traffic control signs at job sites.
