Job summary

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is seeking a Pavement Marking Technician II in Denver. The role involves driving and operating pavement marking equipment, ensuring precise road markings, and following safety protocols on construction projects.

The ideal candidate will work in various weather conditions, read plans, and collaborate with teammates and contractors to ensure project success. CDL Class B will be required within 60 days and ATSSA training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required; must obtain Class B within 60 days.
• Background check and drug test; DOT requirements apply.
• Wear safety gear (boots, hard hat, safety glasses, vest).
• Able to read plans and follow traffic control layouts.
• lift up to 70 pounds and operate marking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pavement marking equipment to apply markings (paint, thermoplastic).
• Prepare work areas, transport materials, and move supplies on site.
• Implement striping plans and perform layout including intersections.
• Maintain and repair hand and pavement marking equipment.
• Communicate with contractors and field inspectors; complete paperwork.
