Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking Pavement Marking Field Associates to join our highway striping team. The role supports road safety objectives and requires operating and maintaining multiple field equipment while ensuring compliance and quality.

We value leadership, accountability, and teamwork, with background checks, MVR, and drug testing conducted prior to hire. Availability for two shifts and travel with the company are required.

Qualifications

• Must comply with company background checks, driving record, and substance testing.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to carry out basic arithmetic functions.
• Maintain safety equipment required for each job.
• Adapt to latest technology and field tools.
• Capable of using a smartphone and applications.
• Able to adjust to changing work schedule.
• Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review equipment and vehicle repair reports.
• Ensure all work complies with DOT and quality guidelines.
• Verify vehicles and spray systems are operable and loaded daily; keep clean.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms accurately.
• Maximize production on the job site.
• Be trained to operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment and vehicle repair reports (filled out by crew members)
• Responsible for making sure all work is done and completed in compliance with DOT and quality
• guidelines
• Make sure vehicles are in working order (spray systems and/or other truck mounted equipment) and
• properly loaded each and every day; make sure vehicles are kept clean and neat inside and out
• Make sure pre-trip and post-trip inspection forms are filled out properly
• Maximize production on job
• Be trained and able to operate and maintain at least 6 different pieces of equipment

Experience (Preferred but not required):

• Be able to operate the following Vehicles/Equipment: hand machines, forklift,
• hand grinder, 3M hand-tape machine, 3M adhesive applicator and hand-roller tamper cart.
• Be able to Install Preformed Thermo/ Hot Tape

Qualifications:

• Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled
• substance/drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Carry out simple arithmetic functions
• Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
• Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
• Ability to use smart phone and applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
• Follow all Safety Policies and Procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic,
• and fumes and airborne particles
• Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud

Availability:

2 Shifts

Monday – Friday

Sunday- Thursdays

Must be able to work some nights and weekends

Must be able to work overtime

Must be able to travel with company when necessary
