About the Role

We are seeking a Pavement Marking Crew Member to join our team. The ideal candidate will understand pavement marking techniques, equipment operations, and safety protocols. This role involves applying pavement markings to roadways, highways, and parking lots according to project specifications and industry standards.

WhatYou Will Do:

• Operate and maintain striping equipment, including paint trucks, line stripers, and hand-held marking tools.
• Prepare and apply pavement markings such as lines, arrows, symbols, and word messages using various materials (paint, thermoplastic, epoxy).
• Ensure accurate and precise application of markings according to project plans and specifications.
• Perform pre-striping tasks, including surface preparation, layout, and traffic control setup.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as needed.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete projects.

What You Will Need:

• A valid driver's license is preferred.
• Two years experience as an epoxy operator.
• Proven experience in pavement marking operations.
• Strong knowledge of different pavement marking materials and their applications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with different types of striping equipment.
• Knowledge of traffic control procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to work outdoors in a wide variety of weather conditions.
• It may require driving between company and customer locations.
• Overnight Travel- 15%

Compensation for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 hourly, depending on experience.
