Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Pavement Marking CDL A or B Driver to join our highway striping team. This role supports road safety with precise pavement markings and a safety-first mindset.

The position includes background checks and MVR/drug testing per hire requirements. Equipped with a CDL, you will operate striping equipment, transport crew and gear, and perform vehicle inspections in a DOT-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record is required.
• Experience operating heavy trucks or pavement marking equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read work orders, maps, and basic arithmetic; strong safe-work practices.

Responsibilities

• Install thermoplastic or waterborne pavement marking materials with the striping crew.
• Operate pavement marking equipment such as airless paint machines and grinders.
• Transport equipment and crew to and from job sites following DOT rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete required documentation.
• Set up and operate equipment as needed and maintain equipment cleanliness.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Work with the highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials
• Operate pavement marking equipment, including airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, and grinders
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards
• Transport pavement marking equipment and crew to and from job sites
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete related documentation
• Assist with setting up and operating pavement marking equipment as needed
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and proper loading
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while on the road and on job sites

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record
• Experience operating heavy trucks and/or pavement marking equipment preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
• Ability to read and understand work orders, maps, and basic arithmetic
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as necessary
• Ability to pass background check, MVR review, and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods during work

Availability:

• Monday through Friday schedule, with possible night and weekend shifts
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed
