Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Pavement Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing small asphalt repairs, seal-coating, and line striping on commercial properties. Ideal candidates are comfortable working outdoors, have a strong attention to detail, and are committed to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform crack filling and minor asphalt patching and repairs
• Operate seal-coating equipment and apply sealer to paved surfaces
• Set up and operate striping machines to apply pavement markings
• Follow project plans, layouts, and safety guidelines
• Prepare work sites by cleaning and prepping surfaces
• Load, transport, and maintain tools and materials
• Complete jobs efficiently while ensuring quality and safety standards
• Communicate with crew leaders and project managers regarding job progress
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle

Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- A solid understanding of Appell Striping's business and proven abilities in striping and other related services preparation and installation.

- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as measurements, weights, area, circumference, and volume.
