Job summary

EverLine Coatings and Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Pavement Maintenance Technician to support our fast-growing team on diverse line painting and pavement projects across the city. The role involves operating specialty equipment, planning production, maintaining safe job sites, and daily status updates with the Operations Manager; overtime and weekend work are common.

Qualifications

• Valid North/South Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated, critical thinker able to solve problems.
• Punctual, organized and detail-oriented.
• Physically capable: walking, bending, lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Independent work capability.
• Small engines experience or paint sprayers is an asset.
• Engineering educational background is an asset.

• Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crackfilling and sealcoating, power washing, epoxy flooring and more.
• Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project.
• Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager.

We are seeking a Pavement Maintenance Technician for our Charlotte crew.

As the Pavement Maintenance Technician, you will perform a wide variety of projects for various clients across the city. Working hours are 35-50 hours per week with some weekends and overtime work required. Overnight positions are available Sunday through Thursday.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Use equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crackfilling and sealcoating, power washing, epoxy flooring and more
• Plan and facilitate the production of a high-quality project
• Communicate job status daily with the Operations Manager
• Maintain a safe, hazard-free job site
• Additional tasks as required

WHAT YOU BRING

• ANorth/South Carolinadriver’s license with a clean driving record (Driver’s Abstract is required) and a reliable mode of transportation
• You are self-motivated, critical thinker that likes to problem solve
• You understand the importance of punctuality, organization and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending and lifting (up to 75lbs)
• Ability to work well independently unsupervised
• Past experience with small engines (like lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is an asset
• An Engineering educational background is an asset
