ARA's Transportation Division seeks staff civil engineers with a passion for pavement behavior and materials to support pavement evaluation and structural analysis projects, emphasizing design and deflection data analysis from various devices. This full-time, on-site role is based in Austin, TX.

You will collaborate with senior staff, handle large pavement datasets, conduct analyses using FWD, GPR, and other tools, contribute to reports and proposals, and engage in marketing/networking

Qualifikationen

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree required with 2+ years of pavement experience.
• Experience in pavement modeling, design concepts, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in GIS and data integration for pavement rehabilitation strategies.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with senior staff and technicians to develop evaluation, design, and rehabilitation strategy recommendations.
• Participate in field work locally and nationwide.
• Work with large datasets from project- and network-level pavement testing to support state DOTs, local agencies, and federal sponsors.
• Conduct analyses using data from FWD, TSDD, GPR, vehicle-based condition assessment platforms, and other equipment.
• Assist with the production of deliverables, including technical reports.
• Participate in writing proposals in response to RFPs for existing and new lines of business.
• Engage in marketing and networking activities.
